Bored Till Three

Lucy is so bored with me. I sit at the computer, edit photos, check email, work on my Etsy, Zazzle and Fine Art America, keep up with friends on facebook, pay bills, read blogs, follow the news...
At 3pm, she starts bugging me. She wines, gets on my lap, climbs in front of the puter and generally annoys me.  If I get up, she tries to herd me to the bathroom. Why the bathroom, you ask??? Because when I take her for a walk, that's the last place I go before we head out....hahaha
Ommm

Lynn, I just, for the first time, realized what an amazing photographer you've become. I went through your entire FAA site and am just speechless (almost). You have a wonderful eye!!! I love how you play with some of the photos to achieve even greater creativity. A wonderful site, so many outstanding photos. What fun you must be having! :))

Teresa, Thank you so much. I try to photograph something daily. I also have joined some photography clubs and groups. Also took a class at the K.C. Art Institute. I love it and it provides so much fun. I'm seeing things differently and use the camera as my excuse to explore.

That is top priority in my house. Making sandwiches to go out today in a bit.

Steve, It's not top, but it is a priority.

She is super smart and has you quite well trained. Callie has me whipped into shape also. Three PM is Callie's food time and there is no way she will let me miss it by a minute.

Patti, Aren't they the funniest??? It's funny watching her trying to herd me to the bathroom and I must admit, I tease her a bit. She loves her walk and of course at my age I must make a stop to that room before we can go (pun..hahaha)

Lucy is adorable. Pets do demand that they maintain their rightful places as king or queen of the household.

I get similar treatment from one of my cats. Early in the afternoon he takes his position on the sofa and stares at me until I give in and brush him. He loves to sit on my lap and roll around as I brush him. He looks ecstatic. Other times, he'll put his front paws on the sofa arm and stretch out so I can brush his whole length.

If I don't show up (because I am "stuck" at my computer or, miracle of miracles, actually doing some housework), he'll track me down until I do my duty. And it's a very pleasurable duty when I can finally break away from my "important" work.

Deja vu. Many of my days are much like the one you describe in your post. And my dog acts very similar to yours. Except she doesn't climb on my lap -- couldn't handle 60 or so pounds between me and my computer. Fun post -- barbara
