Snow

This photo was taken in 2013.
I honestly like snow. The soft fluffy kind. The kind that is quiet.

KC got a little snow last night, just enough to make the roads slick. It's not pretty or quiet. It's the crunchy, will get dirty soon kind of snow. Salt trucks have already made their way down my street.
We've been lucky this year and I shouldn't complain.
But...(and that's a big butt) at least one walk per year in a quiet snow would be nice...(sigh)
Do you like snow??? a fireplace burning? soup cooking? reading a good book or knitting?
ommmm

I do not care for snow. it's pretty in pictures but I am glad that I do not have to deal with the real thing. I lived in Chicago one winter and that was enough for me. and I've been in it in the mountains in Colorado. One or two days playing around in deep snow I can handle. dealing with it on a daily basis would make me miserable.

Fly, I knew that you don't like snow..but funny that you live in Colorado. And you used to live in Steamboat??? hahaha

Ellen, Oooh I'm not talking about like what they've been having in the East. I'm just talking about a fun little fluffy, walking, sledding, making soup and sitting by the fireplace kindof snow.

Yes to all of the above neat things to do with snow except maybe knitting. I love snow and long for that walk in the quiet with a dog behaving like a puppy.
We have not had much but yesterday's couple of inches was a beauty. Sadly,it's gone all ready today.

A light one can be pretty. I have to get out and play in it to make it more enjoyable. I like to ice skate and sled, but am ready to get my garden in order.

Patti, You're right! Dogs do behave like puppies in snow. hahaha...so funny. I do love walking in snow. Lucy, however, runs & runs & runs. hahaha

Linda,Thanks Linda. It's just been cold, hasn't it?!!!

Steve, I too am ready to play in the yard.
