Happy 2014. Don't worry about the list, just take it a day at a time.

Worthy resolutions all! Happy New Year!

Teri, You're right, but I like resolutions. The second one, I've had every year for years. My sister calls and we start laughing because she knows that I've made that resolution...again!!! I don't get real hung up on em...

Debra, I think so. Fun to try anyway.

A good list. I should practice less time on the computer myself.

I could also lose weight and love your laugh out loud goal. Perfect.
I am making mine today and might add that LOL to the bunch. Good luck and much success.

We have a lot of the same resolutions. I think we can work on some together!

Martha, I figured you'd think that was a good one. Seems like you must do this to have all the wonderful shots you post.

Ellen, I spend a lot of time on the puter. I don't watch much TV, but I do like roaming the puter. So much to learn and see. But...now it's become a habit that takes up too much time.

Patti, Happy New Year!!! You will need to publish your list when it's completed. Good luck to you too!!! Ooh and your posts give me lots of LOL's...

Steve, Nothing wrong with that one!!! I think you do that already though... Seems like you're always doing something and you have the good habit of having your camera handy.

Cathy, Yep!!! Especially the camera one, since you're my photo buddy!!! Next week we start...

The best to you TMoon in the coming year and NEVER look back on not working.

Thanks Fly... No more blogs though!!! I spend too much time on the puter as it is. I'm so ready to be really retired!!! Happy New year to you!!!

I like making resolutions even if I know they will be forgotten in a few weeks. I have still yet to post mine, working on doing something different this year. :)

Wishing you love, fun, and peace in 2014!

WOW girl, that's a big load to carry out every day. I wish you luck. What is lojong?
Don't you just love New Years and new beginnings. It always feels so fresh and filled with energy.

turquoisemoon said...

Manzanita, Lojong is kind of like golden rules in Buddhism. I think there is 43/47??? They are awesome. I love starting the year and starting new beginnigs. Does feel fresh.

you've quite a list there, happy new year, new beginnings, I've been feeling more energetic since the new year has begun

Dear Turquoisemoon, like you, I make resolutions for each new year. This year, I'd like to do all I can to find an agent for my writing. I'd like to walk five out of every seven days. I'd like to learn more about World War I.

Your resolutions are impressive and I wish you luck. And I want to tell you that it took me many years to really "retire." Letting go of the security of that work-a-day schedule/routine isn't easy.

I've been away from blogging for several weeks and so I've missed all your postings during that time. If you have any you'd especially like me to read, please let me know. Peace.

I do like your new year resolutions! They follow along the lines of mine especially the losing weight part. I love retirement and don't want my time to be so organized or I'll think I am back at work! -- barbara

Linda, There's something about "starting over" that has us feeling energetic and renewed.

Dee, I've been away from blogging since Jan 1st. Just going thru a spell of having nothing to say. So have you found an agent??? I wouldn't know where to start...

Barbara, I lose weight, then gain (sigh)
