Tips for Volunteering

 This is Muzzy!!!
A chubby lil Cairn.
He's on his way to his foster home in Haughton, La.
I picked him up first. He had his bath and was excited to go. The vet walked him out to my car and bless his heart, he tried to jump in...but was just too chubby, so we picked him up. What a good and happy lil guy!!! My part was to transport him from Parkville, Mo to Lamar, Mo, then five more transporters hooked up to get him safely to his foster home.
Tip #1 ~ Love what you volunteer to do!!!

Linda, I love it!!!

Debra, This little guy was so happy! Normally they're so scared they shake. But he was so excited, like he knew he was on his way to a better life.

Do you ever get to see the people who will get them? You really do have a wonderful volunteer job.

Diva, Isn't that chubby little guy cute??? He was so friendly, I'm sure he'll now have a super happy life.

Patti, Yes, they sometimes post pics on the facebook. Oooh to see how different they look after being cared for is amazing...
It's a wonderful volunteer job!!!

Awww...he's adorable! And he sounds like such a sweetheart. I do hope he finds a permanent home soon. He'll fill up a home with love.

Kate, It's really hard to call it a "job". It just feels so good to know these lil guys are safe and will soon be very happy!!!

Hindustanka, Hahaha...I am so lucky to have found something I love.

Linda...out of all the dogs I've rescued, he was certainly the happiest. He was just a ball of wiggles and ready to go. I think he knew...

Lisa, I am so lucky to have found something I really love to do...I'm lucky!!!

Martha, It won't take him long... They have to stay with a foster mom for a minimum of 2 weeks before they can be adopted. But he'll be adopted soon...I'm for sure of that!!!
