This Years Garden

It snowed in KC on May 4th and then we had so much rain, so I'm behind on my yard work.
I finally planted my garden, my fairy garden.
This year I planted 3 kinds of decorative peppers, some chocolate mint and some lavender.
Gotta keep an eye on the chocolate mint, it tends to take over.
I just love gardening...
ommmm

I hope the chocolate mint is edible. I know it smells great when pinched.

I'm looking forward to the day when I can just be content staying home and gardening.

Adorable! And it's good to know snow is gone, huh?

Patti, The mint makes a very good tea. It will take over, so I'll have to "harvest" it often.

Gypsy, If I could travel as you do I wouldn't garden..hahaha!!! My "garden" is the top of a birdbath, with holes drilled in it for drainage. This is not a real garden, it's my fairy garden and is pretty small.

Ashling....YES! the snow is finally gone! Then the rains came...so I'm really behind in outdoor chores.

Lisa, As long as there are some drain holes, almost anything will work. I learned that the hard way.

Jan, Thank you!!! I do too...and so do those thieve n birds. I have to tie down some of the little fairy stuff or the birds will take them. I need a miniature scarecrow...hahaha
