The drummers kept the rowing rhythm.
hmmm was this team from KU?
Two sweet sisters wearing their dresses for this special occasion.
She put on a lively drumming display...Very cool!
 Precious little dancers
Are they not just the cutest??? They performed a mushroom picking dance.
 Did I enjoy this...???
You bet I did. Any time I get a chance to experience anything from a different culture is a good day for me.

Cloudia, ALOHA..Kansas City is pretty cool...just no mountains. Living in Honolulu, now that's really cool. Never been there, but it's on my bucket list.

Martha, It was fun. I think by experiencing different cultures, we just find out how much we are alike. I wish more people would do this...they're missing out on music, art, laughter, dance, food...did I say food???

What a lovely way to look into another culture. Those boats were really interesting.
I agree, there should be more of this as we such a melting pot. Then perhaps we could appreciate instead of fear those who are different.

Patti, It's a wonderful way to get to know different cultures. KC has several events of this nature. There's The Ethnic Festival. Traditional foods, costume, dance/music and art is featured. Too bad those that fear seem to never attend...

Lisa, This was the first time I've ever gone to this event, but won't be the last. Honestly, there's so much going on around KC that I've missed this event in the past.
