A Closet in Ottawa

The Dietrich cabin was built by Jacob Dietrich, a German immigrant in 1859.
Dietrich died in 1863, his wife maintained the cabin while raising three sons.
Can you imagine???
In these times of more is better, I've seen closets bigger than this home.
Bigger homes, fancier clothes, faster cars...
are we any happier?
ommm

Ooh . . . I'd actually love it if my wife and I lived in a small cabin like that, for that's absolutely beautiful!!!

Chung, It did have a loft type area, which I figured were for her boys. It had one window up there.

Fly, I've been following a tiny house site on FB and Wow! most of them are just so perfect. I loved it!

Actually my house is about that size. Makes it great come cleaning time. When I down size, I down size. Guess what. It fits fine.

BF's daughter bought a 5 bedroom/6 bath/3 car garage. She and her husband don't even have kids and don't plan on any??? what the...???
