Can you tell which picture is of a bull???
One is a flag used for cutting practice. Cutting, as in cutting horse competition.
The next picture is used for practice for roping competition.
The third and fourth pics are of actual live calves. They're called this till they are weaned.
Once weaned one is a bull calf, the other is a first time heifer.
OMG...baby bulls!!! Even I can tell which one is going to become a bull. Me, the city gal...
He looks cranky already, doesn't he???!!!
BF was up and gone early (as usual)...He's sorting cows today. Spring??? calving, this always makes me laugh, starts in 2 weeks.
This is his idea of spring...Mine is when I see flowers starting to bloom and it's warm!!!

So close for those babies to start. This is the 1st I have been able to open your site for a while, not sure why, it just was going Blogger blank.
Poor bull!
Blogger is more confused than the cows being sorted.
Steve, I haven't been able to respond to comments either. I never touch anything for fear of messing my blog up (I'm not puter savvy)

Spring comes early for ranchers, it's true. I hope he gets lots of healthy calves.
Debra, I do too!! I also hope for a safe season...sometimes those mamas get pretty frisky.
Yes, he does look rather cranky already!! We used to live in Peace River, AB and I remember this being a VERY busy time of year on the ranches.
He has spring and fall calves, but I think the busiest time is when he makes hay.
Yep he is gonna be a cranky one, but I guess that the nature of bulls. My Dad had several and I did not go near any of them
NitWit, Boy...I don't trust them either!!!
I've often wondered why bulls look so mean (is it because they can only do one thing? LOL)
Blogger's been giving me fits. Hope this comment takes.
Hi Kittie! Blogger has been awful lately. I've tried to post a comment on your blog and haven't been able to. Yes, agreed...only one thing, but, you'd think they'd be smilin??? ;> hahaha...
Someone needs to tell those cows that the earrings do not match their outfits.
Some say that Google bought Blogger and then the troubles started. I don't know. I just don't have time to figure all these problems out. But I do know that having a popup like this for your comments is far better than the embedded variety. You have a fun blog here and thanks for visiting mine.
Thats really a lot of bull! :)
I would be cranky if I had those tags in my ears..:( I am with you...spring is for flowers herbs and veggies!!! LOL
